I have lived in this neighborhood since 1991 and still love it. As for the sign out front it needs to be replaced and maybe we could create some flyers to pass out to the residence to chip in monies to have it replaced.

We could get a company to come out take an imperssion of the sign and create a solid concrete duplicate to be mounted in place of the wooden one that has been patched a couple of times. I have made a couple of calls trying to find someone to do the work.

Maybe raise enough money to get some kind of lighting for the new sign.

Enhance Signs is to contact me today and look at our sign and see if it can be duplicated, I will post more when I hear from them.

Danny

we appreciate

well m a student and i appreciate ur work we will do every thing to promote. right now m giving professional ccnp exams.

Thank you for getting us started

I cringe every time I walk by that sign. My husband and I are definitely in. I have often thought it would be better to remove the sign than leave it up in its current state of decay. I cant wait to hear what the sign costs will be so we can begin the fund raising component of this task...
Karen

Sign

I would be more than willing to chip in for a sign,as well as help maintain the plants etc... I do like the idea of a sign at the other entrance as well. One thing that I would point out is the shape of the homes at the entrance, what good is a nice new sign when there are homes that are uncared for at the entrance, its lipstick on a pig

Suggestion

It is nice of you to help out with paying for a new sign, but the lipstick comment is unnecessary. Perhaps the people you refer to are doing the best they can. Maybe they would accept some help - if asked in a kind manner. No one needs to feel chastised.

Neighborhood Sign

Thank you so much for creating this website, as it will be great for topics we need to discuss throughout our neighborhood. I too have considered doing a mass mailing to our neighbors to raise the funds necessary to rebuild a better sign. I'm sure glad I am not alone. Thank you to all who are calling for estimates and doing all the leg work. Our family would be very interested in contributing to a new sign. Our neighborhood is beautiful and that old sign is no representation of our community. We have lived here for 9 years and presently have our house up for sale. We are looking to move to more acreage, but we are in no hurry.
Thanks again,
Randy & Lori Rogers

Entrance Sign

Thank you so much for creating this site. We have lived here 15 years. We would be willing to pitch in and do our part. Our neighborhood is so beautiful and our sign should reflect this.

Entrance Sign

Thanks for this site. This will give home to new ideas about what to do about the sign and possibly other items of common interest.

I have been living in the Wilderness since October of 1988 and have seen our sign replaced a couple of times. I am glad someone has taken the initiative to make this site so we can express our opinions ( possibly ) and give some ideas about this and other items of common interest.

I have contacted a commercial sign company who specializes in street and building signs and requested that they give us a proposal to replace the existing sign. I should be receiving their comments within the next couple of days ( a week max ) and will place their proposal for your review.

We should also consider the second entrance on our sub-division ( from Cheyenne) where a second sign could be installed. i was given a verbal estimate of $1600 for a basic "monument" sign all the way to $8000 for an elaborate one.

Please feel free to contact me at demos@jaxoffices.com to discuss any and all possibilities of achieving our goal of replacing the existing sign with a new one.

Of course I will contribute my fair share in whatever we decide to fix this problem.

Sign out front

We have lived in the wilderness for 9 years and love it here. We would have no problem donating for a new sign

Thanks for creating this website

sign

If anyone has banking experience...... Maybe we can set up a non profit account to collect the money. Folks can donate by making a deposit, and our money will be secure. Raising the funds could take a while.
One neighbor has told me lighting use to exist at the sign. It is possible, city electricity is already available their.
PS We are willing to donate as well.

Thanks for the web site.

entrance sign

I will pay my fair share for repair of the entrance sign.
